Three Penguins Earn CSC Academic All-District Accolades

Youngstown State track and field standouts Dorian Chaigneau, Ryan Henry and Esther Solarin were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District squad for the organization announced recently.
The 2024 Academic All-District® Men's Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom.
Nominees must rank in the top 50 in their event (regionally) whether its during the indoor, outdoor or cross country seasons and have a cumulative GPA above 3.50.
Solarin headlined the group finishing 19th in the triple jump at the NCAA meet. Chaigneau finished 20th at the NCAA regionals in the pole vault while Henry was 29th.
