Penguins Open Fall Tournament Campaign at BGSU Invitational

The Youngstown State women's tennis team opens fall tournament play tomorrow at the Bowling Green Invitational. The invitational will go through the weekend, starting on Friday, Sept. 15 and concluding on Sunday, Sept. 17. All days are set to begin at 10 a.m.
The Penguins will compete against DePaul, Miami (OH), Niagara, Northwestern Ohio, Toledo, Bowling Green and Valparaiso at the three-day event.
From their 2023 Horizon League Championship roster, YSU returns Julia Marko, Lili Minich, Eliska Masarikova, Line Greyling and Maria Oliveira. New to the program this fall are Northern Arizona transfer Elinor Beazley, Yeseniia Ovcharova, Lorena Cedeno and Clauda Coombes.
Entering the fall, Masarikova has 43 singles wins while Marko has 38 and Minich has 25 victories.
