Youngstown, Ohio – The Youngstown State men's and women's basketball teams have both clinched top-four seeds in the 2023 Barbasol Horizon League Basketball Championships, and the Penguins will host a doubleheader, Thursday, March 2, at Beeghly Center.

Tipoff for the women's quarterfinal game is set for 5:30 p.m. while the men's quarterfinal contest is slated for an 8 p.m. start.

Tickets will be on sale starting this Monday at 9 a.m. Penguin Club Members and season-ticket holders have until 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24, to reserve their seats at $20. All reserved tickets are $25 and general admission tickets are $15 in advance of gameday. Reserved tickets increase to $27 and general admission to $17 on the day of the game. Tickets for Youngstown State students are free.

The Youngstown State men's team (22-7) is currently in first place in the league standings with a 14-4 record and have a one-game lead with two games remaining. The Penguins visit Robert Morris on Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m.

The Penguins women's program (18-8) is currently in third place with a 12-5 Horizon League mark. Youngstown State visits IUPUI, Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m.
