Youngstown State head track and field coach Brian Gorby announced that Boardman distance runner Brock Farris has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Youngstown State men's track and field and cross country programs for the 2024-25 season.
Farris, a standout at local Boardman High School, clocked a personal-best 5k time of 15:29.70 at the OHSAA State Cross Country Championships to place 13th overall. Farris was recognized as All-Ohio in cross country.
