
Breanna Boyle Signs NLI to Join Track and Field, Cross Country Programs

Youngstown State head track and field coach Brian Gorby announced that Middletown standout Breanna Boyle has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Youngstown State women's track and field and cross country programs for the 2024-25 season.
The impressive distance runner from Middletown, Ohio owns personal records of 2:28.46 in the 800m, 5:13.71 in the 1600m, 11:20.71 in the 3200m, and 19:34.49 in the 5000m. Boyle owns school records in all four of these events at Middletown High School.
Boyle finished runner-up at the OHSAA Division I Southwest District Meet before finishing 11th in the region at the OHSAA Division I Region 4 Meet.
In cross country, Boyle owns a personal-best time and school record of 18:36.6 in the 5k. Boyle finished runner-up at the OHSAA D1 Distract – Cedarville with a time of 18:39.2 and went on to finish 28th at regionals, clocking a 19:30.4 at the OHSAA D1 Region -Troy.
