Marko, Rigazio Pick Up Singles Wins Against Toledo

Toledo, Ohio - Julia Marko and Elisa Rigazio earned singles wins as the Youngstown State women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision at Toledo on Saturday afternoon.
Rigazio earned a 6-0, 6-2 victory at No. 6 over UT's Chrissy Fuller. Marko picked up a 7-5, 6-4 win at No. 3 against Julia Kuszynski. In action at No. 4, Jessica Stanmore dropped a three-set decision by scores of 2-6, 6-2, 6-4. The Rockets won at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 5 in straight sets.
In doubles, YSU earned a win at No. 2 as Stanmore and Lili Minich won 6-3. The Rockets claimed wins at No. 1 and No. 3 to earn the point.
The Penguins return to action next week when they play three matches against Las Vegas. YSU plays UTEP on Friday, Weber State on Saturday and UNLV on Sunday.
