Stelter, Program Receive CSCAA Academic Accolades

The Youngstown State swimming and diving program was named to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America team list for the Spring 2018 Semester. Additionally, senior diver McKenzie Stelter earned Honorable-Mention CSCAA Scholar All-America honors.
The CSCAA recognizes teams with the Scholar All-America Award for achieving a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The Penguins had a team GPA of 3.42 this past spring semester. A total of 710 men's and women's teams from all divisions were honored of which 476 schools were represented.
Stelter was honored for the second straight year as a Scholar All-American. To be named to the team, Stelter maintained a GPA of 3.50-or-higher and achieved a "B" time standard or competed at a regional or zone qualifying meet. She advanced to the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships in the one-meter and three-meter this past March.
