
Orosz, Aranda, Siford Pick Up Multiple Victories Against Duquesne

Viktoria Orosz won three events while Madison Aranda and Megan Siford each won a pair as the Youngstown State swimming and diving team dropped a hard-fought dual to Duquesne on Saturday at the Beeghly Natatorium.
Orosz won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:55.59, the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:07.45 and the 200 IM clocking in at 2:09.17.
Aranda won the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:35.74 and followed that with a win in the 500 free with a time of 5:13.34.
The other swimming event winner for the Penguins was Zsani Csado who finished first in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:08.42.
Kolbrunn Jonsdottir was just out touched in the 50-yard freestyle by .03 as she finished with a time of 25.08 seconds.
Siford won the one-meter dive with a score of 242.99 and the three-meter with a 246.30.
In the 200-yard freestyle relay Duquesne just beat the Penguins who finished with a time of 1:39.41.
The Dukes won the dual by a score of 163.5-130.5.
YSU returns to action on Nov. 18-20 at the Cleveland State Magnus Invitational.
