Penguins Drop Matches to Duquesne, Akron

The Youngstown State women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Duquesne on Friday and suffered a 5-2 setback to Akron on Saturday night. Nehel Sahni picked up a pair of singles wins for the Penguins.
Against the Zips, Sahni earned a come-from-behind 4-6, 7-5, 6-1 win while at Duquesne she picked up a 6-4, 7-6 victory.
Sofia Macias won 6-2, 7-5 at Akron as well for the Penguins.
YSU returns to action on Friday when it visits ACC-foe Pittsburgh.
