The Youngstown State men's tennis team plays host to Dayton on Saturday at the Boardman Tennis Center. First serve for the dual match against the Flyers is set for 5 p.m.
The Penguins have won the last three matches in the series after dropping the previous 10 contests. Last year in Dayton, the Guins picked up a 4-3 win over the Flyers.
YSU (1-0) opened up the dual portion of its season last Sunday with an impressive 6-1 win at St. Bonanventure. Penguin senior Hugo Morth was named the Horizon League's Player of the Week for his win at No. 1 singles and doubles.
The last time the Penguins opened the season with two consecutive victories was in 2012 when they defeated St. Bonaventure and Chicago State to start the year.
Newcomer Agustin Reyes won his YSU debut at No. 6 singles against the Bonnies. Also picking up wins at SBU were Bassem El Mekawi, Youssef Sherif and Matthew Kritzinger.
YSU plays just six home matches during the 2016 spring campaign.
