
Penguins Drop Dual Decision At Duquesne

Pittsburgh, Pa. - The Youngstown State swimming and diving team concluded a busy two-day stretch at Duquesne this afternoon. The Dukes on the dual meet 132-115 at the Towers Pool.
Leading the way for the Penguins was sophomore Madison Aranda who won the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:11.81.
Aranda was second in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:58.65 and the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:09.44.
Megan Stelpflug was third in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:10.12 while Kolbrunn Jonsdottir was third in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.40 seconds. Zsani Csado also was third in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 53.97 seconds.
Haley Fisher was third in the 100-yard backstroke posting a time of 1:04.34 and Hannah Reynolds was third in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:09.18.
The Penguins are next in action on Halloween when they visit Niagara.
