Penguins Set To Entertain Saint Francis (Pa.) on Saturday

The Youngstown State swimming and diving program will play host to Saint Francis (Pa.) on Saturday. The dual is set to begin at 1 p.m. at the Beeghly Center Natatorium.
The YSU divers will start the meet by completing in the platform dive. Later they will be in action in the three-meter competition.
The dual meet features 12 individual swimming events and a pair of relays. The relays are the 400-yard medley relay and the 400-yard freestyle relay.
YSU competed last weeked at UIC and at Green Bay. Highlighting last weekend's performance were freshmen Viktoria Orosz and Madison Aranda and senior Ashley Dow.
Dow won the 100 and 200-yard backstroke events against the Flames and Phoenix. Orosz broke the school record by seven seconds in the 1,000-yard freestyle at UIC. She capped off a strong weekend winning the 100 free, 200 free and 200 IM against the Phoenix. Aranda took first in the 200 freestyle and the 100 butterfly against the Flames.
The Penguins knocked off the Red Flash in the last dual between the schools at the Beeghly Natatorium on Nov. 9, 2012. YSU won that dual by a narrow score of 149-139. Last year Saint Francis beat the Guins 151-106 in Loretto, Pa.
