Penguins Open Horizon League Play Against Wright State at BTC

The Youngstown State women's tennis team begins Horizon League play against Wright State on Saturday afternoon at the Boardman Tennis Center. The dual is set to start at 5 p.m.
The Penguins (5-9) will be looking to snap a six-match losing streak against the Raiders (5-9). It is the Horizon League opener for both schools.
YSU is coming off narrow 4-3 losses in its last two matches at San Jose State and UC Davis.
Last year, the Penguins won 7-0 at Wright State after dropping the previous two contests in the series.
Marta Burak leads the team with 15 singles wins so far this season. Annina Brendel and Margarita Sadovnikova each have 12 wins this year while newcomer Dominika Lackova has won nine of 13 matches this spring. Lackova and Burak have each won eight of their last 10 decisions.
The YSU men are also in action against the Raiders on Saturday at 4 p.m. at the BTC.
