The Youngstown State men's tennis team returns to Horizon League play on Saturday afternoon when they play host to Wright State at the Boardman Tennis Center. The dual match between the Penguins and Raiders is set for 5 p.m.

The match is one of two on the weekend for YSU. On Sunday, the Penguins venture to Michigan to take on the Wolverines at 5 p.m. The Varsity Tennis Courts in Ann Arbor, Mich., is the host site for the 2014 Horizon League Championships.

The Penguins (3-9 overall and 0-1 in the Horizon League) will be looking to snap a three-match losing streak on Saturday when the Raiders (6-8) visit. YSU was last in action on March 12 when it played at UC Davis.

Last year, YSU picked up an exciting 4-3 win at Wright State when Max Schmerin clinched the final point. Prior to the win, the Penguins had dropped five straight duals in the series.

The Penguins lost at Cleveland State to open league play on Feb. 16.

Siliviu Mistreanu has a team-high 14 wins this year while Sebastian Hagn has 13. Schmerin and Zeeshan Ismail each own 11 singles wins so far this season.

The YSU women are also taking on the Raiders at 5 p.m. Saturday at the BTC.
