Penguins Fall to Ohio State, Sadovnikova Falls in Three

Columbus, Ohio - The Youngstown State women's tennis team lost 7-0 to Ohio State on Friday evening at the Varsity Tennis Center.
At No. 1 singles, Margarita Sadovnikova won the first set 6-4 over Miho Kowase. Sadovnikova dropped a tough 7-6 decision in the second set and dropped a third-set tiebreaker 10-6.
At No. 2 singles, Marta Burak played a strong second set losing 6-4 to Ferny Angeles Paz. Burak dropped her first set 6-0. Annina Brendel lost 6-1, 6-2 at No. 3 singles, Dominika Lackova suffered a 6-0, 6-2 setback to Sandy Niehaus, Gimena Puppo lost 6-0, 6-2 to Noelle Malley and Nehel Sahni lost 6-1, 6-1 at No. 6 to Nicole Flower.
The Buckeyes (3-3) won the doubles point picking up wins at No. 1 and No. 3.
YSU (0-2) returns to action on Sunday when it plays in Dayton.
