Sarah Heimlich Finishes 10th at Cleveland State Invitational

Hinckley, Ohio -- Youngstown State junior Sarah Heimlich finished 10th at the Cleveland State Invitational which concluded on Tuesday at Pine Hills Golf Course. The Penguins finished seventh out of 11 teams.
Heimlich carded a two-round score of 157 after firing rounds of 78 and 79. Saint Francis (Pa.) Sarah Colligan won event with a two-round total of 148.
In the team race, Oakland won with an impressive two-round total of 602. The Golden Grizzlies ran away with first place finishing 38 shots ahead of second-place finisher Bowling Green. YSU had rounds of 324 and 330 to finish with a 654.
Freshman Allison Mitzel placed 17th with a two-round 160 (79-81), freshman Aislynn Merling was 25th with a 164 (80-84), Angela Molaskey (87-88) and Sana Khan (89-86) each finished tied for 47th with a 175.
The Penguins return to action on Oct. 10 when they travel to Pennsylvania to compete in the Robert Morris Holiday Inn Golf Classic.
