Penguins End Campaign With Loss to Butler at HL Championships

Indianapolis, Ind. -- The Youngstown State men's tennis team dropped its final match of the season, falling to Butler 4-2 in the fifth-place match at the Horizon League Championships on Friday morning.
The Penguins earned points at No. 5 and No. 6 singles with Rob Emig and Rodrigo Campos earning victories.
Butler jumped on top of YSU 1-0 winning the doubles point.
In singles play, YSU's Felipe Rosa dropped a 6-2, 6-4 match to Chris Herron at No. 2 singles, Max Schmerin lost 6-3, 6-1 to Zach Ervin at No. 3 singles while Zeeshan Ismail fell 6-2, 6-2 to Lenz Theodor at No. 4 singles.
Emig won his final collegiate match defeating Brad DiCarlo 6-2, 6-1 while Campos beat David Dolins 6-7 (2), 6-0, 1-0 (4) at No. 5.
