Penguins Place Fourth at Detroit Titans Invitational

Highland, Mich. -- The Youngstown State men's golf team placed fourth at the eight-team Detroit Titans Invitational that concluded on Saturday. YSU finished with a team score of 928 (311-313-304) after playing two rounds on Friday and 18 holes this morning.
Leading the way for the Penguins was Joe Santisi who tied for 10th place with a 229 following rounds of 77, 77 and 75. Spenser Sulzener (81-76-78) and Anthony Conn (74-81-80) each carded 235's in the event to tie for 19th. Michael Lower was 22nd with a 236 (79-82-75) and Mark Olbrych was 23rd with a 237 (82-79-76).
Detroit won the event with an 895, Humber was second and Loyola was third.
YSU will head to the Horizon League Tournament to be played at Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. from April 22-24.
