Women's Tennis Drops Match to Bowling Green

The Youngstown State women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 match to Bowling Green on Saturday afternoon at the Boardman Tennis Center. Margarita Sadovnikova dropped a hard-fought three-set match at No. 1 singles.

Sadovnikova lost 6-3, 1-6, 10-8 to Bowling Green's Christine Chiricosta at No. 1 singles. She was the lone Penguin to win a set against the Falcons on Saturday.

YSU battled hard in doubles action falling 8-3 at No. 1, 8-6 at No. 2 and 8-3 at No. 3.

The Penguins return to action on March 26 when they open Horizon League action at Milwaukee.
