Penguins Drop 6-1 Decision at Buffalo

Williamsville, N.Y. -- The Youngstown State men's tennis team wrapped up its New York swing with a 6-1 loss to Buffalo on Sunday morning. The Penguins went 1-1 over the weekend beating Niagara.
The Penguins picked up a win at No. 2 singles when Felipe Rosa won following a default in the second set by George Tibil. At No. 1 singles, Tariq Ismail lost a hard-fought two-set match falling in extra-point tiebreakers each time.
YSU had a two-match winning streak snapped by the Bulls.
The Guins return to action on March 5 when they open Horizon League action against Cleveland State. That dual is set for the Boardman Tennis Center.
