Hamilton Runs Personal Best to Finish Eighth at Notre Dame Invitational

Women's Recap
With 300 points, the women's team placed 15th out of 19 teams;
however, they finished ahead of Horizon League teams Valparaiso by
205 points and Green Bay by 289 points. The top four YSU runners
completed the course under 19:15, with the fifth runner coming in
under 19:55.
Hamilton once again led the way for the Guins, placing eighth out of 161 runners. Her 18:07 time was also a personal-best by 40 seconds. Katherine Digby and Anna Pompeo also had 40 second personal-bests, finishing with times of 19:06 and 19:09, respectively. Nelly Yegon knocked 70 seconds off her personal-best to finish at 19:16, while Rachel Huddle rounded out the top five with a personal-best 19:58.

Men's Recap
The men's team finished 13th out of 16 teams, scoring 44 points
better than Valparaiso and 126 points better than Green Bay.
Continuing their strong pack running, the top five finishers were
separated by less than 55 seconds.
Jim Ramson finished 63rd overall with a time of 26:27 to be the first Penguin to complete the 8k. He was followed by Joe Copploe, Eric Rupe and Jake Lape, who finished the course in 26:47, 26:50 and 26:54, respectively. Scott Denham rounded out the top five at 27:19.
