2008 | Sophomore: Batted .250 with 24 hits in 96 at bats… belted three home runs, had three doubles, 13 runs scored and 12 RBIs... played in 39 games and started 22 - 16 at DH, four in right field and two in left... hit .265 and had two of his homers in league competition... did most of his damage at the plate coming off the bench... was 8-for-19 (.421) with seven RBIs and seven runs in 17 games as a substitute... hit .438 and had two home runs as a pinch hitter... both of his pinch-hit home runs came in the ninth inning, including one on April 20 against Milwaukee that sent the game into extra innings... hit . 348 over his last 21 games after being held to a .160 clip in his first 18... had two hits on six different occasions ... hit in six straight contests from April 8 to April 16... was 8-for-16 with six runs scored in the stretch... scored a season-high three runs against Niagara (Nov. 15).
