Career Notes: Finished her career as the school’s all-time leader in home runs (34), runs batted in (119) and slugging percentage (.619)...Ranked tied for fourth all-time with a career batting average of .333...Also ranked fifth all-time with 36 career doubles and sixth with 166 career hits as well as 75 career runs scored.
2008 (Senior): Named All-Horizon League First-Team for the second straight season...Just the third player in school history to accomplish consecutive first-team all-conference laurels...Named ESPN the Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District Third Team...Led the team with a .333 batting average, 11 home runs and 32 runs batted in...Her 11 home runs tied the single-season home run record...Slugged at an impressive .630 clip, which is the fifth-highest single-season slugging percentage in school history...Batted .410 (16-for-39) with runners in scoring position, .431 (28-for-65) with runners on base and .455 (25-for-55) with two outs...Posted 20 two-out RBIs...Collected 11 multi-hit games and led the team with eight multi-RBI games...Batted .388 with three home runs and 12 RBIs in home games...Blasted six home runs and batted at a .328 clip with 15 RBIs in away games...Went 2-for-4 with a home run and four runs batted in against Michigan State (3/23)...Blasted a home run in a 2-for-3 outing and scored three times in an 8-0 win over Akron (3/26)...Went 3-for-4 with a home run, double and five runs batted in against Saint Francis (Pa.) 2007 (Junior): Named All-Horizon League First-Team after batting .416 with nine home runs, 16 doubles, 34 RBIs and 21 runs scored...Became the first player since 1983 to bat above .400 and her .416 batting average is the third highest single-season average in school history...Appeared and started all 38 games...Set the single-season record for highest slugging percentage at .796...Her nine home runs and 16 doubles ranks second all-time on the single-season chart while her 34 RBIs rank third...Led the team with 13 multi-hit games and eight multi-RBI games...Posted a 10-game hitting streak from April 21-May 6...Went 13-for-30 for a .433 batting average with four doubles, three home runs and nine RBIs during that span...Tied the school’s single-game hit record with four base knocks against Green Bay (4/14)...Drilled a double and a home run in a 3-for-3 outing against St. Francis (Pa.) (4/4)...Went 3-for-4 with a double and a home run in a 6-0 victory over UIC (3/31)...Drove in a season-high four runs in a 2-for-3 outing against Miami (Ohio (3/25)...Ripped a double and a home run against the RedHawks...Opened the season going 2-for-3 with three RBIs against George Mason (3/10)...Batted .429 against Horizon League opponents with doubles, three home runs and 11 RBIs in 14 games...Also posted a .786 slugging percentage against League foes.
2006 (Sophomore): Appeared in 41 games with 40 starts...Named to the Horizon League All-Tournament Team and recognized as its Most Valuable Player and Outstanding Offensive Performer after batting .700 (7-for-10) with eight runs batted in and six runs scored...Posted a tournament slugging percentage of 2.200 and an on-base percentage of .714...Set Horizon League Tournament records for home runs (5) and total bases (22)...Tied the tournament single-game record for home runs in a game with two against both Detroit (5/11) and Wright State (5/12)...Her two dingers tied the school record for most home runs in a game...Became the first player in school history to hit two home runs in two games...Hit the game-tying home run in the championship game against Illinois-Chicago the bottom of the sixth inning (5/13)...Drove in a run against Illinois-Chicago in the winner’s bracket final (5/12)...Blasted two home runs and scored three times against Wright State in a winner’s bracket game (5/12)...Went 3-for-4 with two home runs and five runs batted in against Detroit in the first round of the Horizon League Tournament...Tied a school record with four hits in a 4-for-4 performance with a home run, double and five runs batted in during an 8-6 win over Ohio (4/26)...Went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs in a 4-2 win over Cleveland State (4/25)...Ripped two doubles and drove in two runs while going 3-for-3 against Niagara (4/19)...Belted her first home run of the season against Kent State (4/18)...Batting .410 over the last 26 games with five doubles, seven home runs, 24 runs batted in and a slugging percentage of .744 (4/12-5/13)...Led the team with two five-RBI games...Had a nine-game hitting streak and batted .600 (15-for-25) with five home runs and 13 RBIs during that span...Batted .306 with seven home runs, six doubles and 27 runs batted in...Batted .300 with runners in scoring position, and .411 with two outs...21 of 27 runs batted in came with two outs.
2005 (Freshman): Appeared in 46 games with 41 starts...Named to the Horizon League All-Newcomer Team...Blasted a team-best seven home runs with 26 runs batted in...Her seven round trippers ranks tied for the third-highest single-season mark in school history...Batted .327 against Horizon League opponents and .283 overall...Tallied eight multi-hit games and was second the team with four 3-hit games...Ripped a run scoring double and a three-run home run in a 9-1 win over Belmont (3/5)...Belted her second home run in a 2-for-3 performance against Northern Colorado (3/14)...Went 3-for-3 with a double and two runs batted in against Vermont (3/19)...Hit two doubles and a home run with three runs batted in during a 8-7 loss to UIC (4/3)...Drilled a three-run home run in a 3-for-3 outing against Green Bay (4/17)...Went 3-for-3 against Wright State (5/1).
High School: Earned four letters and was named team captain as a senior at Bowling Green High School...Earned first-team all-state and all-district honors as a junior and senior...Set school records for most home runs, extra-base hits, batting average and slugging percentage...Hit .422 with two home runs as a junior and belted 15 home runs that summer.
Post YSU: Earned degree from Youngstown State in Exercise Science and Biology...earned her Master’s Degree of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Toledo...she is a manager at the Clinical Research and Cancer Registry at the University of Maryland Baltimore-Washington Medical Center...resides in Annapolis, Md.
