Career Track & Field Highlights – Was a member of the program from 1995-99…earned first-team all-conference honors in indoor track and field in 1999…won the women’s long jump and set a then-school record with a lead of 19-2 3/4 at the Mid-Continent Conference indoor championships…placed third in the 400m with a time of 58.7 seconds at the Stan Lyons Open…took ninth place in the 400m at the Florida State Relays with a time of 57.80 seconds and was 11th in the long jump with a leap of 18-01…won the 400m at the Mount Union Relays with a time of 57.21 seconds…set the school record in the 400m with a time of 56.09 seconds in the preliminaries at the 1999 Mid-Con outdoor championships…in the finals, she placed fourth in the 400m with a time of 56.68 seconds…took home two first-place finishes at the 1997 Mid-Con outdoor event…won the long jump with a leap of 18-3 ¾ and set a conference record in winning the 400m with a time of 57.14 seconds…was fourth in the 200m dash (27.39 seconds) and second in the 400m at the Buckeye Invitational…named the 1995 Mid-Continent Newcomer of the Year…she helped lead YSU to a pair of Mid-Continent Conference championships – 1996 indoor and 1997 outdoor...that was YSU's first indoor and outdoor titles for the women...the 1996 indoor title was the first track and field championship in YSU history.

After YSU: Graduated in the spring of 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice...coached middle school track for two years in Lakewood as well as working as a personal trainer, substitute teacher and child care director...joined the YSU coaching staff in 2001.

Coaching Highlights - Served the jumps coach for the Penguins from 2001-12...in her 11 years, the Penguins won 23 individual conference crowns in jumping events, and four student-athletes have earned specialty awards at the Horizon League Championships. YSU won six consecutive indoor high-jump crowns to go along with five straight outdoor high-jump titles. She had four athletes advance to the NCAA outdoor prelims during her tenure.
