Playing for head coach Bill Narduzzi from 1976 to 1979, it seems like all he and teammate Jim Ferranti did was play pitch and catch during their four year stay on the Penguin campus, and in between helped the Penguins to an overall 33-13-0 mark. He and Ferranti become the third and fourth athletes to be inducted into the Penguins' Athletics Hall of Fame on their first year of eligibility. Snoddy still ranks as the al time leader in touchdown passes in a game (four-done three times during his career), most touchdown passes in a season (19) and most touchdown passes in a career (40). He still ranks in the top five in seven passing and total offense categories, playing on the two teams during his junior and senior campaigns that posted the most wins in a single season, 10 in 1978 when they made it to the NCAA Division II semi finals, and 11 in 1979 when they went to the Zia Bowl Championship and were national NCAA Division II runners-up in Albuquerque, NM.
