    Versatile tailback Jake Andreadis ended his YSU career ranked third in all-purpose yards and fourth in rushing yardage.
    Andreadis, who was a standout for the Penguins from 1995-98, rushed for 2,620 yards on 535 carries and scored 26 touchdowns and caught 69 passes for 565 yards. He also returned kickoffs and punts for the Guins during his career.
    As a senior, the Cincinnati native rushed for 545 yards on 111 carries and scored five touchdowns. He caught 19 passes for 151 yards and a touchdown which came against Southern Illinois. He rushed for a season-best 143 yards on 11 carries against Delaware. Andreadis scored a pair of touchdowns in the final game of his collegiate career against Missouri State. He also had rushing scores against Central Florida, the Blue Hens and Clarion.
    He had 11 kickoff returns for 225 yards and returned nine punts for 53 yards while he finished with 974 all-purpose yards.
    In 1997, Andreadis was a key cog on the National Championship winning team while being named a first-team All-Gateway performer. He rushed for 1,054 yards on 192 carries and scored 11 touchdowns. He caught 18 passes for 130 yards, returned 11 kickoffs for 237 yards and had 36 punt returns for 264 yards. He finished the year with a career-best 1,685 all-purpose yards.
    On three occasions he rushed for more than 100 yards in a game. He had a season-high 123 yards against Missouri State, 115 vs. Southern Illinois and 108 against Kent State. Andreadis had 11 rushing scores, finding the end zone in 10 contests. He scored a pair of touchdowns against Missouri State.
    In the title game win over McNeese State, he grinded out 35 yards on 16 carries in the 10-9 victory in Chattanooga. He had at least 14 rushing attempts in each of the four postseason contests and scored against Hampton and Villanova.
    In 1996, he rushed for 425 yards on 91 attempts and scored four touchdowns. He caught eight passes for 25 yards and had 471 all-purpose yards. He rushed for a season-high 117 yards against Kent State.
    During his freshman campaign in 1995, he led the team with 595 yards rushing on 137 attempts and scored six touchdowns. He played in just the final seven games of the season but averaged 85 yards rushing a contest. He caught 24 passes for 259 yards for the season. On three occasions he had six receptions in a game.
  Andreadis had a career-best game in a win over Wingate. He rushed for 210 yards on 22 carries and scored three touchdowns, including a career-long run of 76 yards. Andreadis had a career-high 31 rushing attempts at Akron and ran for 130 yards against the Zips. Against Central Michigan he had 95 yards rushing to go with 74 yards receiving.
  Prior to coming to YSU, Andreadis was a two-time conference player of the year at Anderson High School. He set school records for rushing yards, all-purpose yards and touchdowns. He also excelled in track and field and was a state champion in the pole vault.
    He is a medical device representative at Hologic Surgical in Cincinnati.
    Jake and his wife, Dawn, have three daughters, Athena, Adrianna and Aria.
