One of the most physical players to ever run up and down the hardwood for the Penguins, he is the record holder for the most rebounds in a single season (555) and most rebounds in a career (1,848). A native of Midland, Pennsylvania, he also pulled down the unheard of number of 33 rebounds in a single game, a record which still stands today. He ranks fifth in most field goals in a career (721) and most points in a career (1703), while his 549 points in a single season is 10th best on the all-time list. During his four years at Youngstown State, he helped lead the Penguins to three NAIA post-season tournament play-off appearances.
