Thomas is one of just three players in school history to be named the Horizon League Player of the Year…in her career, had 233 hits in 644 at bats for a .362 batting average…had 45 doubles, nine triples, 25 home runs, 26 stolen bases, 148 runs scored and a .576 slugging percentage… finished her career as the only player in school history to record at least 200 hits, 25 home runs, 45 doubles, 25 stolen bases and a batting average above .360.
2012 (Senior)
Named the Horizon League Player of the Year, becoming just the second Penguin to earn the honor (Amanda Berry, 2003)…second-team NFCA Midwest All-Region selection…first-team All-Horizon League selection and was named to the all-tournament team…played in 51 games, making 49 starts…led the team with a .431 batting average with 72 hits in 167 at bats…scored 42 runs and had 40 RBI…belted nine home runs and had 18 doubles…had a team-high 117 total bases for a .701 slugging percentage…belted homers in nine games…ripped three doubles and scored three runs with four hits against Butler (3/24)…had two doubles in three other games…had three RBI with two runs scored and went 3-for-4 against Wright State (4/21)…knocked in three runs against Green Bay on a two-out double in the top of the seventh inning (5/5)…scored three runs against Marist (2/25)…against Toledo (4/24) was 3-for-4 with three runs scored, two RBI and two doubles…had three hits against North Carolina A&T…had three hits with two doubles against Northern Colorado…had three hits, including two doubles, and two RBI against Army…had three hits vs. Bucknell…went 3-for-4 in the second game of a doubleheader against Cleveland State…went 3-for-4 in the second game of a doubleheader against Loyola…went 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs against Valparaiso…was 3-of-4 with 3 RBI and two runs vs. Wright State…named Horizon League Player of the Week on March 20…had a .476 batting average through the first 21 games of the season…had 20 multi-hit games…had 14 multi-RBI contests…went hitless in consecutive games on just two occasions.

Started all 46 games in center field...Batted .313 (47-for-150) with 10 doubles, a triple, a team-high seven home runs, 38 runs scored and 27 runs batted in...Her 38 runs scored is the second-highest in a single-season...Had 13 multi-hit games and five multi-RBI games...Batted .407 (24-for-59) with runners on base and .444 (16-for-36) with runners in scoring position...Led the team with 15 two-out RBI...Batted .371 (13-for-35) with two outs...Hit a two-run home run against Kent State (2/13)... 2010 (Sophomore)
Started all 50 games in center field...Led the team in batting average (.370), triples (6) and slugging percentage (.648) while tying for the team lead in home runs (8)...Set the school-single season record with 41 runs scored...Scored a run 48 percent of the time she reached base...Batted .404 with bases empty, .313 with runners in scoring position, and .304 with runners on base...as a leadoff batter, she reached base more than 50 percent of the time...Her slugging percentage ranked as the fourth-highest single-season total in school history...Led the team with 16 multi-hit game...tied the school record for most hits in a game (4) three times...Had a team-best 11 game hitting streak (April 10-April 20)...Batted .515 (17-for-33) with 12 runs scored, four doubles, two triples, a home run and four runs batted in during that span...Set the school's single-game record with three home runs against Niagara (4/28) and tied the school mark with six runs batted in against the Purple Eagles...Her 61 hits rank tied for second on the YSU single-season list...Recorded four hits against South Carolina State (3/5), Akron (4/6) and Wright State (4/17)...Scored multiple runs in a game 13 different times...Batted .342 against Horizon League opponents with five doubles, a triple and two home runs.Â

Appeared and started all 50 games in centerfield...Tied for the team lead with 13 multi-hit games and 53 hits...Her 53 base hits were the most by a freshman since Tiffany Patteson (2003)...Ranked third on the team with a .327 overall batting average...Led the team with 27 runs scored...Batted .333 against Horizon League opponents.. High School
Was a three-year letterwinner at Simi Valley High School... Named all-conference three times... Helped prep squad to the Marmonte League championship as a senior... Led Simi Valley to the Tournament By the Sea Championship, Best of the West Championship and the Suzanne Manlet Tournament Championship.
