After YSU: Played in four games for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1985…enshrined in the Beaver County Hall of Fame.

Career: Caught 87 passes for 1,230 yards and had 12 touchdowns at YSU.

1984 | Senior – Honorable-Mention AP All-America selection…first-team All-Ohio Valley Football Conference selection…started all 11 games at tight end…had a team-best 43 receptions for 549 yards and seven touchdowns…had seven of the Penguins’ 11 receiving touchdowns…had three catches for 49 yards and two touchdowns against Middle Tennessee…caught three passes for 37 yards and a TD vs. Eastern Michigan…had five grabs for 52 yards vs. Eastern Kentucky…hauled in five passes for 58 yards and touchdown at Cincinnati…caught six passes for 69 yards at Western Illinois…had three touchdown receptions in win over Tennessee Tech…had three catches for 59 yards against UNI…caught a season-high seven passes for 93 yards against Akron…had 71 yards on four receptions against Morehead State.

1983 | Junior – Started all 11 games at tight end…caught 43 passes for 681 yards and five touchdowns…opened the season with eight catches for 87 yards against Eastern Kentucky…caught nine passes for 128 yards and a TD against Morehead State…hauled in five passes for 91 yards and touchdown against Tennessee Tech…had six receptions for 113 yards and a 25-yard touchdown catch vs. Western Illinois…had six catches for 82 yards against Eastern Illinois…had three grabs for 68 yards, including a 46-yard touchdown catch, against Austin Peay…had a TD catch against Middle Tennessee…had two catches for 54 yards vs. Murray State.

1982 | Sophomore – Caught one pass for the Penguins.

High School: At Center High School, he was a three-year letterman and a starter at wide receiver for two years...as a senior, he caught 32 passes, including five for touchdowns and was named first team on the Midwestern Athletic Conference All Star Team.
