Career Highlights: Played in 159 games…had a .353 batting average…had 184 hits in 521 at bats…had 120 runs scored…at the time his career ended, owned the school record for career hits, doubles and runs scored…had 37 doubles, six triples and 13 home runs…also had 85 RBI and 17 stolen bases…finished with 272 total bases, a .522 slugging percentage and a .429 on-base percentage…still owns the school record for doubles in a season with 23 in 1998.
1998 (Senior): Played in 48 games…named First-Team All-Mid-Continent Conference East Division as a catcher…had 68 hits in 181 at bats for an impressive .376 batting average…had 46 runs scored and 31 RBI…belted seven home runs and had 23 doubles…finished with a career-high 96 total bases…had a .615 slugging percentage and a .432 on-base percentage…also stole 10 bases…had hits in 40 of the 48 games…had 10 multi-RBI contests…on four occasions, had three hits in a game…also had two doubles in a game four times…belted doubles in 19 contests…had a season-high 13-game hitting streak from April 4-April 23…blasted a pair of home run against Cleveland State on April 10…scored a season-high three runs against Eastern Kentucky…had four RBI against the Vikings and against Pace…batting average was as high as .387 on March 31…raised his average 35 points from April 18 until the end of the season…walked 21 times.
1997 (Junior): Played in 46 games…named First-Team All-Mid-Continent Conference East Division as a catcher…had 67 hits in 165 at bats for an impressive .406 batting average…had 41 runs scored and 36 RBI…belted two home runs, four triples and had 10 doubles…stole 14 bases…opened the season with a 22-game hitting streak…for the year, had hits in 41 of 46 games…had three hits in a game on six occasions…knocked in three runs on four occasions…had three RBI against UNC Wilmington, North Carolina A&T, Toledo and Central Connecticut…batting average was as high as .469 on April 13…hit homers against UNC-Wilmington and Akron…had triples against Ohio, LeMoyne, Pittsburgh and New York Tech…in a three-game series with North Carolina A&T was 6-for-13…was 4-of-7 in a doubleheader vs. Duquesne…had four runs scored against CCSU on April 26…scored three runs against CW Post…walked 19 times.
1996 (Sophomore): Played in 41 games…had 34 hits in 122 at bats for a .297 batting average…scored 22 runs and had 14 RBI…cracked four doubles, a triple and had a home run….had seven multi-hit games…had a season-best three hits and three RBI vs. Central Connecticut State…in the four-game series vs. CCSU was 8-of-12…hit a home run against CW Post…hit a triple at Duke…scored four runs and had four hits in season-opening series at VMI.
1995 (Freshman): Played in 24 games…started the final 14 games at catcher…had 15 hits in 53 at bats for a .283 batting average…belted three home runs…scored 11 runs and had five RBI...had two hits and scored two runs against Geneva…belted a home run at Ohio…blasted a pair of home runs and had four RBI in win over New York Tech on May 7, 1995…that contest marked the 700th win in program history.
