Playing the number one singles position all four years (he played for the Penguins form 1976 to 1979) at YSU, Bill Dunn calls the teamwork and friendships of those four teams memories that he will never forget. Those four Penguin teams posted a 40-10 overall mark, and he was selected the 1979 mid continent Player of the Year after capturing the #1 double partner Rob Adait, he also won the Flit #1 MC doubles championship as well. His overall singles and doubles mark of 37-9 and 39-7 respectively ranks as one of the tops at #1 play as he became the first Penguin netter ever in 1980 to get a bid to the NCAA championships in both singles and doubles play in the same season. In 1980, he was 12th overall in #1 singles in the nation. He currently resides in Chicago IL where he is Regional Manager of Chicago for AGA Gas Central, a subsidiary of AGA Gas Inc, one of the world's largest producers of industrial gases. Bill is married to the former Elizabeth Cushwa. They reside in Homewood IL and have a son William (age 4).
