Career Highlights: Set indoor school records in the shot put and the weight throw...set the school-record in the hammer throw and shot put in the outdoor circuit...owns Horizon League records in the indoor shot put, the weight throw and the hammer...was the only thrower in league history to collect five indoor titles, and she is the only one to win both throwing events in the same year...was also the only female-student athlete in league history to win two different events three consecutive years...was a two-time Horizon League Indoor Athlete of the Year and four-time NCAA Mideast Regional qualifier...was a four-time Field Performer of the Meet at the league championships.
2008 Outdoor (Senior): Won the hammer for the third consecutive year at the Horizon League Outdoor Track & Field Championships...broke the league hammer record with a heave of 182-5, which was almost 22 feet further than the No. 2 placer...also finished second in the shot put (43-7) and second in the discus (139-6) at the league meet...her mark in the discus was a personal-best...is the only female student-athlete in league history to win two different events three times in her career (won shot put 2005-07)...hit the automatic NCAA Regional mark in the hammer three times, including when she set the school record at the Pepsi Florida Relays in the first meet of the season (190-5)...finished 23rd in the hammer at the Mideast Regional (173-1)...earned a total of 11 top-five finishes during the year...earned CoSIDA Second-Team Academic All-District accolades.
2007-08 Indoor (Senior): Named the Horizon League Women’s Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Year for the second consecutive season...also earned Field Performer of the Meet honors for the third straight year after winning the weight throw...took the top spot in the weight throw for the third consecutive year, setting school and league records with her throw of 63-10 1/2...became one of three student-athletes in league history to finish as a three-time champion in two events...also finished fourth in the shot put at the league meet with a season-best heave of 43-6...was an NCAA provisional qualifier in the weight throw and finished the year ranked 25th nationally...earned academic all-league honors.
2007 Outdoor (Junior): Named YSU’s female athlete of the year...was the fourth female track and field athlete to earn the award and the first thrower...won the shot put and hammer at the Horizon League Championships for the second straight season...became the first three-time shot put champion in the 10-year history of the league meet...finished eighth in the hammer at the Mideast Regional, which is the highest-ever individual finish at the meet by a YSU student-athlete...broke the school record in the hammer at the Regional with a throw of 188-10 3/4...had the Horizon League’s best throw in the hammer by 28 feet... added a third-place finish in the discus at the league championships with a personal-best mark of 135-3 in the only time she competed in the event all year...hit the Regional qualifying mark in the hammer the first week of the season and three more times during the year...was YSU’s first-ever female thrower to automatically qualify for the Regional...did not finish lower than fourth in the hammer prior to the Regional...finished the year ranked in the top 50 in the nation in the hammer.  
2006-07 Indoor (Junior): Voted the Horizon League Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Year by the league’s coaches...was also named Outstanding Field Performer at the Horizon League Championship after sweeping the throws for the second straight season...won the shot put for the third straight year, becoming just the third three-time winner in the event in the league’s history...won the weight throw by more than 5 1/2 feet with a mark of 56-1...edged UW-Milwaukee’s Amber Curtis by 3/4 of an inch to win the shot put with a mark of 43-2 1/2...became the first female thrower in school history to provisionally qualify for the NCAA Championship...finished the year ranked 26th nationally in the weight throw...named the Horizon League Athlete of the Week three times...broke the school record in the weight throw with a mark of 63-7 at the Kent State Tune-Up.
2006 Outdoor (Sophomore): Earned Outstanding Field Performer honors at the Horizon League Championship after winning the shot put (44-3 1/2) and the hammer (170-10)...won the shot put by two feet and the hammer by more than five feet...also placed ninth in the javelin (87-3) and 10th in the discus (108-10) at the league meet....finished 23rd in the hammer at the NCAA Mideast Regional (162-10)...set the school record in the hammer at the Sea Ray Relays with a fourth-place throw of 175-1...earned a total of four top-six finishes in the hammer and four top-six finishes in the shot put.
2005-06 Indoor (Sophomore): Swept the throws at the Horizon League Championship...her throw of 58-4 3/4 in the weight throw was a season-best mark and almost 4 1/2 feet further than the second-place finisher...won the shot put by almost three feet  with a heave of 46-2...both of her throws were season-best marks...also won both events at Robert Morris...earned six top-five finishes in the shot put and six top-five finishes in the weight throw.
2005 Outdoor (Freshman): Was named Outstanding Field Newcomer of the Meet at the Horizon League Championship after winning the shot put and placing third in the hammer…broke the League record and the school record in the shot put at the meet with a mark of 46-3 1/2…also set the school record in the hammer with a mark of 171-10 1/2...qualified for the NCAA Mideast Regional in the shot put and placed fifth in her flight.
2004-05 Indoor (Freshman): Named the Field Newcomer of the Year at the Horizon League Championship, winning the shot put and placed second in the weight throw at the conference meet...heave of 47-7 1/4 at the meet in the shot put set YSU and Horizon League records while her mark of 55-8 1/2 in the weight throw was a school record.
High School: Earned two letters and was named team captain once...was the 2004 state champion in the shot put at Southwestern High School…was a three-time state qualifier…broke the school record in the shot put (41-5 1/2)...that record still stands…was named the team’s most valuable player in field events...helped lead Southwestern to the Division II State Championship.
Post YSU: Graduated with a degree in Physical Education and Health Education from YSU...earned a degree in Health Promotion and Education from the University of Cincinnati...works as a CPS caseworker for Chautauqua County in Western New York...has a daughter, Jade Jones...resides in Jamestown, N.Y.
