2008 Outdoor (Freshman): Finished fifth in the hammer with a personal-best throw of 151-10 at the Horizon League Championships ... surpassed her previous best by 15 feet ... also finished 12th in the discus at the league meet ... threw the discus a personal-best 133' 5" at the Toledo Invitational to finish fifth ... placed fourth in the discus at the Sparky Adams Invitational.

2007-08 Indoor (Freshman): Placed seventh in the weight throw at the Horizon League Championships, posting a personal-best mark of 49-7 ... earned five top-10 finishes in the weight throw, including a runner-up showing at the Baldwin Wallace Mid January Meet ... threw the shot 33-3 3/4 at Kent State.

High School: Earned four letters for the Hilltoppers ... placed fourth in the discus in Division I at the Ohio State Track and Field Championships as a senior (134-0) ... also finished 13th in the state in the discus as a junior (105-11) ... set the school record in the discus (140'3") ... was a two-time Premier Athletic Conference Champion in the discus.

Personal: Daughter of Richard and Debra Opper ... has four brothers and two sisters ... born Nov. 16, 1988 ... academic interest is integrated math education.
