2007-08 Indoor (Freshman): Placed 16th in the weight throw at the Horizon League Championships with a personal-best mark of 41-4 1/4 ... placed seventh in the weight throw at the Baldwin Wallace Mid January Meet.

High School: Was a two-year letterwinner and team captain one year ... helped lead the Spartans to Mahoning County titles as a junior and senior ... also played basketball all four years and volleyball for two ... graduated with honors.
