2008 Outdoor (Freshman): Finished fourth in the shot put (4-9 1/4) and eighth in the hammer (152-5) at the Horizon League Championships ... his throw in the hammer was a personal-best ... heaved the shot a personal-best 48-9 1/2 at the Red Flash Open ... threw the discus 119-1 at the Northeast Ohio Quad.

2007-08 Indoor (Freshman): Finished fifth in both the shot put (47-8) and weight throw (52-8 1/4) at the Horizon League Championships ... his weight throw mark was a personal-best ... was the only freshman to score in both throwing events ... threw the shot put a personal-best 49-11 1/4 at the Baldwin Wallace Mid February Meet ... earned five top-eight finishes in the weight throw and four in the shot put.

High School: Earned four letters for the Quakers ... set the Metro Athletic Conference shot put record ... finished second at the Ohio state meet in Division II in the shot put (55-10) as a senior ... also finished seventh in the shot as a junior ... was Salem's Field MVP all four years ... also named MVP at the MAC and Columbiana County championships.
