The Youngstown State men's tennis dropped the second
match of the weekend to Eastern
Illinois 7-0 on Saturday
evening.
In
singles, Tom Barth lost to Chuck
Levaque 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 singles.
Brian Meek was defeated by Vuk
Milicevic 6-3, 6-0. In the No. 3
spot Brandon Lenfert beat Diego
Cerzosimo 7-5, 6-1. Ryan Trapp lost
Jeff Rutherford 6-1, 6-4. Sean Bush
beat Jason Trapp 6-2, 6-4 and at No.
6 singles Jordan Nestrud defeated
Maurice Rucker 6-3, 6-1.
At doubles competition, Levaque and
Lenfert beat Trapp and Trapp 8-5,
Milicevic and Bush defeated Meek and
Cerozimo 8-2 and in the No. 3 spot
Rutherford and Nestrud beat Barth
and Rucker 8-4.
The Penguins will be back in action this Friday as they play
at Xavier. Match time is set for 5
p.m.
