Final Weekend of Action; Seniors to Be Honored on Friday

The Youngstown State swimming and diving team will play host to UIC on Friday at 5:30 p.m. at the Beeghly Natatorium in the final dual meet of the season. YSU will also host its annual Diving Invitational on Sunday morning.

It will be the final action for the swimmers and divers as preparations will continue for the Horizon League Championships set to take place Feb. 22-25 in Brown Deer, Wis., with Milwaukee as the host school.

Prior to Friday's meet, seniors Audria Grubbs, Nishani Cicilson, Kirstin Walker and Katie Wolf will be honored. The four swimmers have had standout careers at YSU.

Friday's dual will feature 16 events -- 14 swimming and two diving. YSU junior diver Casey Hill has won 16 events this year and will look to have strong weekend against both the Flames and at the YSU Invitational. The diving invitational is set for 11 a.m. on Sunday.
