The Youngstown State Women's Swimming & Diving team will offer a "Learn to Swim Clinic" for children ages 3-10 in March and April. A total of five sessions will be hosted by the Penguins' student-athletes at the Beeghly Natatorium.

The Youngstown State swimming and diving team finished up their home season on Friday against UIC at Beeghly Natatorium. Freshman Ashley Dow broke two pool records and junior Casey Hill continued her dominance in the diving events.

Youngstown State Wins Five-Team Butler Invitational
Fishers, Ind. — The Youngstown State Swimming and Diving team finished first at the five-team Butler Invitational against Xavier, Hillsdale and Ball State at Fishers High School on Sunday. The Penguins scored 644.50 points to beat out the Musketkeers for the team title.

Dayton, Ohio -- The Youngstown State Swimming and Diving team traveled to Dayton to take on Wright State at Saturday at the WSU Natatorium, but fell short, 147-96.

Dow, Hill Win Events in Home Dual Against Ohio
The Youngstown State Swimming and Diving team competed in their first home dual meet after the break against the Ohio Bobcats at Beeghly Natatorium. The Guins were defeated 145-96, however junior Casey Hill and freshman Ashley Dow picked up event wins.

Radford, Va. -- Youngstown State junior Casey Hill set her second meet record at the Radford Highlander Invitational in winning the 3-meter competition on Friday. Hill won the 1-meter on Thursday.

Niagara University, N.Y. -- The Youngstown State swimming and diving team won 14 of 16 events in defeating Niagara 199-101 on Friday at the Oxy Center. Five Penguins won two events and YSU won both relays against the Purple Eagles.

Penguins Win Six Events in Opening Dual vs. Green Bay
The Youngstown State swimming and diving team hosted their first home meet of the 2011-12 campaign on Friday against seven-time defending conference champion Green Bay at Beeghly Center Natatorium. Green Bay won the dual by a score of 185-115.

Bowling Green, Ohio -- The Youngstown State swimming and diving program opened their 2011-12 season competing at the Tom Stubbs Relays hosted by Bowling Green at the Cooper Pool. Toledo, Bowling Green, Akron and YSU all participated in the event.

Learn to Swim Clinic Set to Start Later This Month
The Youngstown State Women's Swimming & Diving team will offer a "Learn to Swim Clinic" for children ages 3-10 during three Sunday and Wednesday evenings this fall. A total of six clinics will be hosted by the Penguins' student-athletes.

Program Receives CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Award
The Youngstown State swimming and diving program has received a Scholar All-America Team Award from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America for their academic performance during the spring semester.
