The Cafaro Family is donating $1 million for the construction of the Watson and Tressel Training Site at Youngstown State University. The track and the lobby of the Watson and Tressel Training Site, also known as WATTS, will be named in honor of the Cafaro family.

Youngstown State senior thrower Aaron Merrill (Leetonia, Ohio), a 2009 third-team Academic All-American, was selected first-team ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA All-District IV for the second consecutive year. Senior distance runner Lauren Blase (Boardman, Ohio) was named second-team academic all-district as the selections were announced on Thursday.
