Brian Keidel is in his fourth year with the Youngstown State football program.

Keidel handles all video scouting, both opponent and self-scout, for the program. He is also the Penguins' pro liaison who works with NFL scouts on a daily basis setting up video and information sessions.

He oversees a student staff of five-to-seven interns during the fall and spring seasons.

Keidel joined the Youngstown State staff in 2010 after spending a brief time as a video intern at Jacksonville University.

Previously, he spent two years as an intern with the Minnesota Vikings' video department. The Vikings reached the playoffs during both of his seasons with the organization. In 2010, Minnesota lost 31-28 in the NFC Championship Game to eventual Super Bowl Champion New Orleans.

He worked with the Kansas football staff in the 2006 and 2007 seasons before moving on to Minnesota. In 2007, the Jayhawks were 12-1 and defeated Virginia Tech in the FedEx Orange Bowl. KU was Big 12 North Division Co-Championships that season.

Keidel earned his degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas in 2005.
