HIGH SCHOOL: Special-Mention All-Ohio Division III selection as a senior...All-American Conference Red Division first-team selection...first-team all-district pick...as a senior, completed 69-of-108 passes (64 percent) for 1,057 yards and seven touchdowns...rushed for nearly 400 yards and five touchdowns...also was the team’s punter and starting defensive back...Bulldogs finished the year 9-3 reaching the Division III Region 11 semifinals...as a junior, completed 61-of-111 passes (55 percent) for 804 yards and four touchdowns...set school mark for completion percentage...coach was former YSU quarterback Mark Brungard...Eagles won two league championships and appeared in playoffs twice...also played basketball and competed in track and field...made the honor roll.
