The Youngstown State cheerleading
squad is inviting juniors and
seniors in high school, area
cheerleading teams and other
individuals who are interested in
learning more about the Penguin
spirit squads to a Cheerleading
Visit Day on Saturday, March 1 on
the YSU campus.
Activities begin at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at Sweeny Hall.
Individuals will hear a admissions
and financial aid presentation, take
a campus tour, participate in a
cheerleading round table and meet
the YSU spirit squad coaches before
attending the Penguins’ men’s
basketball game against Cleveland
State in the evening.
The day offers individuals a chance to see campus, meet the
current squad members, learn how to
maintain academic responsibilities,
get involved in the community, show
Penguin Pride and enjoy the campus
experience.
