2005-06 | Freshman
Played in 27 games, starting 16 contests...after not starting the opener, started the next three games...started six straight games from Dec. 31 through Jan. 14...started the final seven games of the season...played a total of 429 minutes, averaging 15.9 per contest...played 20-or-more minutes on 11 occasions...had a season-high 34 minutes played at UW-Green Bay...scored 88 points and grabbed 75 rebounds...averaged 3.3 points and 2.8 boards per game...grabbed 31 offensive and 44 defensive boards...had a team-best 19 blocked shots...ranked 11th in the HL in blocks per game...also had seven assists and seven steals...was 38-of-81 from the field (46.9 percent)...was 12-of-24 from the free-throw line...scored in double figures on three occasions...had a season-high 11 points at UW-Green Bay...scored 10 at Akron and had 10 at home against the Phoenix...finished with eight at Canisius...grabbed a season-high seven rebounds at UIC...had six boards in regular-season finale versus Loyola...had at least three rebounds on 15 occasions...made a high of five field goals against UW-Green Bay twice...attempted a season-best nine field goals at Akron...15 of his 26 free-throw attempts came in the final seven games of the season...made three free throws on six attempts at Loyola in the HL Tournament...had two assists at UIC and at Detroit...posted a high of three blocked shots at Loyola in the tournament...had two steals at Eastern Michigan...finished with eight dunks...was the first substitution six times...was the first Penguin to score on five occasions...as a starter, averaged 4.5 points and 3.3 rebounds...earned his first letter.
