Men's Basketball Joins American Cancer Society, NABC in Coaches vs. Cancer Walk

    Youngstown -- The Youngstown State men's basketball program, in conjunction with the  American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), will participate in a community service project to benefit cancer research when it hosts the inaugural Coaches vs. Cancer WALK on Saturday, Oct. 4, at the YSU Track.

    Registration is set at 9 a.m. and the three-mile WALK begins at 10 a.m. The cost is $10 per participant and YSU students will receive a discount with a valid student ID.

    The WALK is open to anyone who wants to aid in the fight against cancer.

    Participants will have the chance to win door prizes, t-shirts and a 50/50 raffle.
