Men’s Golf: Tim
Morrow Captures Fourth, Penguins
10th at John Dallio Memorial
Lemont,
Ill. -- The Youngstown State men’s golf team
finished the three-round John Dallio
Memorial Tournament in 10th at
Ruffled Feathers Golf Course that
concluded on Monday.
As a team the Penguins shot an 897
(305-294-298), which was 24 strokes
of Nova Southeastern who won the
event in a tie-breaker with Southern
Illinois.
Leading the way for the Penguins was junior Tim Morrow who
finished in fourth after carding a
three-round total of 215 (72-72-71),
only six strokes behind the
medalist. In 18th was redshirt
freshman Joey Santisi who shot a 220
(80-69-71) at the event.
After shooting a 231 (76-79-76), junior Shawn Deppe finished
54th. Sophomore Michael Turner
finished the event in 68th after
shooting a 235 (77-78-80). Sophomore
Spenser Sulzener carded a 236
(80-75-81) to finish the event in
70th.
The men’s squad will return to action when they participate
in the Cleveland State Invitational
on Sept. 29-30.
