Season tickets for what should be exciting 2017-18 Youngstown State men's and women's basketball seasons are now on sale.

There are three different packages available for Penguins fans to enjoy the action at Beeghly Center. The Penguin Package, which includes a ticket in the lower chairback section to every men's and women's game, is available for $175. A season pass to all 12 men's games is $155, and a pass to the women's 14-game home slate is $145. The best seats at midcourt in the lower chairback sections are available exclusively to Penguin Club Courtside Coaches Club members at the Royal Level or above.

The home schedule for both teams begins on Tuesday, Nov. 14, with a doubleheader on Rosselli Court. It will be one of four doubleheaders during the year, and it will feature the women hosting Kent State and the men against Franciscan.

Under the direction of new head coach Jerrod Calhoun and staff, the men's team will feature an up-tempo offense and energetic defensive style that will have fans excited to be courtside in 2017-18. All-Horizon League guard Cameron Morse returns for his senior season and has a chance to finish among the top scorers in the country, and he will be joined by returning starters Braun Hartfield and Francisco Santiago. In addition to the exciting Horizon League slate, the YSU men will host nearby Rival Robert Morris as part of its 12-game slate at Beeghly Center.

Women's head coach John Barnes will enjoy a strong cast of veterans and newcomers as the Penguins aim to return to postseason play. The Penguins will welcome back stars Sarah Cash and Nikki Arbanas to join three players who averaged double figures last year. Senior Indiya Benjamin could break YSU career records for 3-pointers and assists, and Arbanas and Alison Smolinski will be one of the top 3-point duos in the country. Also with reigning Horizon League Freshman of the Year Mary Dunn, YSU will host Kent State, Bucknell and Northern Arizona before conference play begins.
