Penguins Well Represented on 2004 Gateway Honor Roll
St. Louis, Mo. -- The
Youngstown State football team was
well represented on the Gateway
Football Conference's 2004
Commissioner's Academic Excellence
team and Honor Roll, the league
announced recently.
The Penguins had 25 individuals on the Honor Roll while 12
members received the Commissioner's
Academic Excellence Award. The
Commissioner's team is made up of
student-athletes who have a
cumulative grade-point average of
3.20 or above, freshman are not
eligible. Student-athletes who hold
a minimum of a 3.0 grade-point
average in a given semester are
tabbed to the Honor Roll.
