Q. If a
prospect's is from an another area of the country that we also have
a booster from, would it be permissible to introduce the prospect to
that booster on an (un)official visit so that the booster
could speak to the prospect about what the Youngstown area is like?
A. NO.
Boosters (including former student-athletes) are
not permitted to interact with prospects in any way, shape or form
during the recruitment process (e.g. meet/greet on (un)official
visits, telephone, email, etc.). Once a prospect signs an NLI, a
booster may speak to that prospect but conversations may only deal
with arrangements for summer employment.
