2008: Went 1-3 and earned three saves in his first season at YSU... made his first appearance on March 12, but did not pitch again until April 16... made eight more appearances and eventually moved into the closer's role... allowed only five earned runs in 16.2 innings for a 2.70 ERA... walked just three batters... ranked tied for seventh in the Horizon League in saves and tied for fifth with two pickoffs... did not allow an earned run in six of his appearances... went 1-1 with a 1.69 ERA in league games... held lefties to a .240 average... made his Division I debut against Xavier on March 12, allowing a solo homer in 1.1 innings... earned his first save against Milwaukee on April 20, throwing 2.1 scoreless innings... also picked up the save against Wright State after throwing 0.2 scoreless innings... earned a 3.0-inning save at West Virginia, allowing four hits and striking out a season-high three batters... suffered his first loss at Penn State, allowing his only run in 3.1 innings in the 13th (April 23)... that was his longest outing of the season... did not allow another earned run until May 15 at Milwaukee as his ERA dipped to 1.42... ended up as the winning pitcher against the Panthers, allowing one run on three hits in 2.1 innings... suffered the loss against Valparaiso in the opening round of the Horizon League Tournament, allowing two runs on six hits in 1.2 innings.

Genesee Community College: Went 5-4 with a 1.86 ERA as a sophomore ... struck out 54 batters in 56.2 innings ... helped lead the Cougars to a No. 1 ranking in Region III ... was named GCC’s Athlete of the Week.

St. Thomas Tomcats: Participated in a Canadian national tournament where he led his squad to a third-place finish twice ... in 2006, he threw five-hitter in a complete game victory to lead Ontario to the Junior Bronze title ... helped lead his team to three provincial titles.
