YSU Student-Athletes Honored
During Summer Commencement
Youngstown -- Fourteen former and one current Penguin
student-athletes received their undergraduate or
graduate degrees from Youngstown
State University at Saturday's summer
commencement festivities held at the
Beeghly Center.
Athletes honored included: Tom Froelich, Football; Joe DeBee, Football; Brian Boone,
Baseball; Sadie Brookman, Soccer;
Angela Pasquinelli, Volleyball;
Brent Parks, Baseball; Charles
Schultz, Baseball; Chris Goffer,
Football; Codera Jackson, Football;
Josh Cayson, Football; Greg
Jacobs, Football;
Lindsay Frontz, Track and Field;
Monquantae Gibson, Football; Devin Novak, Women's Basketball
(graduate) and Adam Cox, Baseball
(graduate).
Boone and Jacobs graduated Magna Cum Laude while Pasquinelli
earned Cum Laude distinction. Former
student athletic trainer Shingo
Tanaka and Athletics Marketing
Intern and PenguinVision Director
George Brown received their degrees
